A Choose Your Own Poem, of sorts

“I would wish”

She / He / They then said

“To be this Better Sort –

The one who Might / Would

Spend freely Her / His / Their own Free Will

Toward Her / His / Their Better Sort,

of Person in Place.”

“I want You to want

this Thing too –

Taking gladly what has been given to you –

Your [very] own Free Will.”

“Imagine the Things We / You and I could do.

I love to imagine

These things our Will / Wills will do!”

    • Thank you Suzanne! I credit @thewhippoorwills for the notion of flexible personal pronoun syntax.

I have been thinking about how we tend to translate “free will”, or do not fully consider how this term implies a thing gifted. Imagine! All that Will, for free! 🙂

      • Very nice! I enjoy reading whippoorwills too.

Oh, that is intriguing! Puts a different emphasis on “free” and “will”, A thing gifted – I like that. I shall consider it myself. 🙂
